RECIPES: Gameday Guide

Everyone loves to eat good food during the big game. Smoking meat works especially well on gamey since so many low-and-slow recipes are low maintenance once they’re on the smoker. That, or you’re firing steaks or burgers quickly so you can get back inside for the second half. We’ve all been there and probably will be again. For these moments, where the food must rise to the occasion to make the victory that much sweeter or the heartbreak a little less painful, here is our Gameday Recipe Guide.

Easy to make and easy to eat. These pull-apart Italian sliders are a big winner that even the most novice chef can nail.

These homemade Big Macs do require more prep and effort than a standard burger, but the family, the party, the in-laws, and your own mouth will thank you! Is it a big game? Then go BIG. Kent certainly did in his video.

Wanna know the secret to great gameday vegetable dishes? Are you ready? Butter and cheese. In this savory side dish recipe, Ree Drummond made a satisfying dip that works great at the tailgate.
This is a great recipe to do in a large cast iron skillet or dutch oven, right alongside whatever meat you have smoking.
